Our testing week training layout!
It’s week 4 of our current training cycle which means we get a chance to test the strength movements and put the skill we have been focussing on into some workouts. I will leave some of the details a mystery but this is a sneak peek of our layout for the week:
MONDAY
Over Head squat – build to a challenging triple
15min AMRAP involving the bear complex.
TUESDAY
Practice Turkish get ups (heavy or skill work)
10min AMRAP: gymnastics tester (Pull, Push)
WEDNESDAY
Deadlift – build to a challenging single
10min AMRAP – endurance test
FRIDAY
Thruster – build to a 1RM
Bench mark – ‘Nancy’ 5 rounds for time: Run 400m, 15 OHS @ 42.5/30kg
SATURDAY – Regionals event 3
For time:
100-ft. dumbbell overhead walking lunge
100 double-unders
50 wall-ball shots
15-ft. rope climb, 10 ascents
50 wall-ball shots
100 double-unders
100-ft. dumbbell overhead walking lunge
